Daniel Stephen Sugerman (October 11, 1954 – January 5, 2005) was the second manager of the Los Angeles-based rock band the Doors. He wrote No One Here Gets Out Alive (co-authored with Jerry Hopkins), The Doors, the Illustrated History (1983) and the autobiography Wonderland Avenue: Tales of Glamour and Excess.

Danny was a nerdy teenage kid who kept showing up at our office until he talked his way into a job answering our fan mail. He hadn't even graduated high school by the time Jim died. He went on to manage Nite City and he worked closely with Ray to keep the Doors alive in people's minds. He was probably one of the biggest Doors fans who ever lived, and Jim was likely the most important and influential figure in his life. Set the Night on Fire, Robbie Krieger

Danny managed Ray's solo career post Doors.
